The 7 Adventures of Sinbad

That's right! Seven adventures, all crammed into the one movie!

The 7 Adventures of Sinbad (US-2010; dir. Adam Silver and Ben Hayflick) tells of a modern-day incarnation of the Arabian-Nights hero, who must complete seven tasks in order to save the world from catastrophe. Naturally the tasks involve monsters -- and from the preview trailer below there appears to be plenty of them, ranging from ogres, giant crabs and the de rigeur giant octopi to dragons and leviathan-like whales disguised as islands.

It is released on DVD on 25 May 2010.

Megapiranha Pics

Two new images and the official poster from The Asylum's next giant monster epic, Megapiranha (US-2010; dir. Eric Forsberg), have surfaced, with the film on schedule for a 27 April release, way ahead of the film it was set to shadow -- the "remake" Piranha 3D -- which has been put back to August.

Princess of Mars Trailer

Synopsis:

After a woman kills her abusive husband in self-defense, she is condemned to house arrest... only to discover that the house is possessed by the enraged and violent spirit of her dead husband.

Transmorphers: Fall of Man -- the Trailer

Here's the newly released trailer for The Asylum's sequel to its own film Transmorphers (US-2007; dir. Leigh Scott) -- Transmorphers: Fall of Man (US-2009; dir. Scott Wheeler).



Synopsis:

The robotic alien invaders defeated in Transmorphers return to the Earth in the present day, and a small group of humans lead a small resistance against the machines.

T-Rex Attack
